Faisal Hasnain, the ICC's Chief Financial Officer, and Urvasi Naidoo, the in-house lawyer, have tendered their resignations from the world body, a spokesperson confirmed.

"Urvasi has got an offer from the Women's Netball Federation and will be based in Manchester," an ICC spokesperson told Cricinfo. "We congratulate her on the great offer and wish her all the best in her future. The CFO has also taken a decision and we respect that."

Hasnain is believed to have quit on May 8, a week after Malcolm Speed, the ICC's chief executive, proceeded on leave following differences over a number of issues with Ray Mali, the ICC president and some board members. However, the spokesperson clarified that there was no connection between the two developments.

Interestingly John Moore, the head of the Human Resources wing, had quit a couple of months back. "We have a new person in charge of HR," another spokesperson said.

Both Naidoo and Hasnain will be in office till the ICC's annual meetings to be held at Dubai from June 29 to July 4 when the new guard takes over under Haroon Lorgat, the incoming CEO.

Speed was put on paid leave until the end of his contract on July 4. In a brief statement, David Morgan, the ICC's president-elect, said: "This ... is the result of a fundamental breakdown in the relationship between the CEO and a number of board members, including the president, over a variety of issues that include Zimbabwe."
