Profile
Nicola Shaw's injury was Laura Marsh's break - and she was called into the England side to make her debut in 2006 against India. Marsh, the Sussex seam-bowler, had impressed in the Super 4s and Championship. She started playing cricket at school aged 11 and, after taking a gap year, is currently in her first year at Loughborough, studying Sports Science with Management.
