Bob Woolmer, the former Pakistan coach who was murdered during the World Cup in March, has been cremated in a private ceremony in South Africa.

The service, attended only by Woolmer's family, took place near to his home in Cape Town.

Woolmer was found dead in his hotel room on March 18, mere hours after Pakistan's shock defeat to Ireland. A post-mortem revealed that he died of strangulation, although a BBC investigation indicated he was also incapacitated by poisoning before he was strangled.

The investigation to find Woolmer's killer, led by Mark Shields, continues.
